AISDI™ Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the AISDI™ website, course library, learning environment, subscriptions, digital course access, ALMA™, ALMA Activities™, certificates, validated completion records, communications, downloads, and related services.
These Terms are issued by Artificial Intelligence Skills Development Institute (Pty) Ltd (t/a AISDI™), registration number 2025/544994/07, with registered business address at 15 De Witt Street, Van Dyk's Bay, Gansbaai, 7220, Western Cape, South Africa.
For support, legal notices, privacy requests, cancellation support, and general account matters, contact support@aisdi.ai.
These Terms should be read together with the AISDI™ Privacy & Data Protection Policy, Cookie & Tracking Notice, Communications & Marketing Policy, and Intellectual Property & Content Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the AISDI™ website, creating an account, registering for free access, using AISDI™ learning materials, using ALMA™, purchasing a subscription, completing a checkout process, or continuing to use AISDI™ services, you agree to these Terms.
If you use AISDI™ on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organization. In that case, “you” and “your” refer to both you and the organization, unless the context requires otherwise.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use AISDI™ services.
2. What AISDI™ provides
AISDI™ provides practical, vendor-neutral AI learning through structured courses, digital learning materials, AI-assisted learning interaction, ALMA Activities™, certificates, validated completion records, subscriptions, course access options, and related services.
AISDI™ is not only a static course library. AISDI™ courses are active learning experiences that combine structured course material, supporting media where available, ALMA™ interaction, ALMA Activities™, learner judgment, reflection, practice, and applied use.
AISDI™ may provide services through its own website, the AISDI™ learning environment, controlled digital course-delivery systems, customer and billing systems, payment-processing systems, third-party sign-in providers where enabled, analytics services where enabled, AI model providers, secure infrastructure providers, database providers, communication tools, and other service providers.
3. Accounts, registration, and access security
To use some AISDI™ services, you may need to create an account, register through an access process, use a supported sign-in method, or receive access through a purchase, invitation, organization, or partner.
You are responsible for keeping your account details, login credentials, access links, and sign-in methods secure. You must not share your account with another person, allow another person to use your access, or use another person’s account.
AISDI™ may refuse, suspend, or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that the account has been misused, shared, compromised, used for unlawful purposes, used in breach of these Terms, or used in a way that threatens platform stability, content security, intellectual property, payment integrity, or other users.
You must provide accurate registration, billing, and contact information. You must keep this information current where it affects billing, access, support, certificate issue, validated completion records, or account notices.
4. Free, no-charge, trial, and promotional access
AISDI™ may provide free, no-charge, complimentary, promotional, trial, or evaluation access to selected courses, libraries, certificates, features, or services, including Essentials-level access.
Essentials access is currently available at no charge for individual learning and review use. This does not create any right to lifetime access, permanent access, ongoing no-cost access, or continued access to the same courses, certificates, features, content, library structure, or access model.
AISDI™ may change, limit, replace, suspend, withdraw, or start charging for any free, no-charge, complimentary, promotional, trial, or evaluation access in future. If AISDI™ introduces paid access for a previously free offering, AISDI™ will not charge a user unless the user selects a paid plan and authorizes payment.
A user who does not choose a paid plan may lose access to affected courses, certificates, libraries, features, or services after the applicable change date.
Free or no-charge access is intended for individual learning and review. It is not intended for mass organizational deployment, team rollout, learner reporting, managed cohorts, integrations, onboarding, or broader internal training use unless AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing.
5. Paid subscriptions and access licences
A paid AISDI™ subscription grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, time-bound licence to access the applicable AISDI™ course library level, course set, or service during the active subscription term.
A subscription does not transfer ownership of any AISDI™ course, course structure, learning material, ALMA™ interaction structure, ALMA Activities™, certificate design, template, assessment, download, platform component, methodology, brand asset, or related intellectual property.
Each subscription, seat, or access entitlement is for one unique user unless AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing. You must not share, pool, rotate, resell, transfer, or allow multiple users to use one account, seat, or entitlement.
AISDI™ may offer different access types, including free access, monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, course passes, bundles, learning paths, business access, enterprise access, partner-mediated access, commissioned learning development, or other access models.
The exact content, access level, pricing, billing interval, included courses, renewal basis, and access conditions are determined by the offer, checkout page, invoice, order confirmation, subscription plan, written agreement, or applicable AISDI™ access terms.
6. Course passes, bundles, and selected course access
Where AISDI™ offers a Course Pass, bundle, or selected-course access option, that access applies only to the course or courses included in that pass, bundle, or offer.
Bundle contents must be defined at purchase or order confirmation unless AISDI™ states otherwise in writing. A bundle is not an open-ended right to choose any course at any time unless the relevant offer says so.
Course passes, bundles, and selected-course access are licensed access rights only. They do not transfer ownership of any course or material.
AISDI™ may add, remove, replace, retire, rename, reorganize, or change courses, course levels, course bundles, learning paths, and libraries from time to time.
7. Access after payment
Where payment is required, AISDI™ normally enables access immediately after successful payment confirmation through its automated access process.
Access may be delayed where payment confirmation, fraud checks, account setup, system availability, third-party provider performance, manual review, support intervention, or technical processing is required.
AISDI™ may refuse or delay access where payment fails, payment is reversed, payment is suspected to be fraudulent, billing information is incomplete, or the transaction requires additional verification.
8. Pricing, currency, billing, and payment
AISDI™ may display estimated prices in a visitor’s selected or local currency to make comparison easier. Unless AISDI™ states otherwise at checkout, online subscription payments are processed in South African Rand through AISDI™’s South African payment setup.
The amount authorized at checkout and the amount charged on renewal are ZAR amounts. If you pay with a card or account issued outside South Africa, your bank, card issuer, or payment network may convert the ZAR charge into another currency and may apply its own exchange rate, conversion timing, fees, or foreign-transaction charges. AISDI™ does not control those conversions or fees.
Prices, taxes, discounts, coupon codes, billing periods, and included access are shown on the relevant pricing page, checkout page, invoice, or order confirmation. Where a conflict exists between a general website statement and the specific checkout or order confirmation for your purchase, the specific checkout or order confirmation controls for that purchase.
You authorize AISDI™ and its payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the purchase, subscription, renewal, tax, fee, or other amount shown at checkout or otherwise agreed.
You must ensure that your payment method remains valid and that sufficient funds are available for renewal charges. AISDI™ may suspend or terminate paid access if payment fails and is not resolved within the applicable payment recovery period.
9. Automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval selected at purchase unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the annual term unless AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing.
Each renewal is charged in ZAR at the applicable AISDI™ subscription price for that subscription, unless AISDI™ has notified you of a price change where notice is required.
AISDI™ may send renewal reminders, payment reminders, failed-payment notices, and cancellation confirmations. Failure to receive or read a reminder does not cancel a subscription.
You remain responsible for managing your subscription before the next renewal date.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription through the customer portal where available, or by contacting support@aisdi.ai.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. It does not automatically refund amounts already charged for the current billing period.
Unless AISDI™ states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, your access continues until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation.
You should cancel before the next renewal date if you do not want the subscription to renew. If you request cancellation by email, AISDI™ may need reasonable time to process the request. For that reason, you should not wait until the last moment before renewal to send a cancellation request.
11. Failed payments and payment recovery
If a payment fails, AISDI™ or its billing provider may retry the payment, send payment reminders, ask you to update your payment method, restrict access, suspend access, or cancel the subscription.
If a card issuer or payment provider requires additional authentication, the renewal may fail or require your action. AISDI™ is not responsible for access interruption caused by your bank, card issuer, payment provider, expired card, blocked transaction, insufficient funds, authentication failure, or incorrect billing information.
AISDI™ may restore access after successful payment, but it does not guarantee that all interrupted access, progress, certificate timing, usage records, or account states can be restored exactly as they were before suspension.
12. Refunds
AISDI™ provides digital learning services and digital course access. After successful payment, access is provided immediately or shortly after payment confirmation through AISDI™’s automated access process. By completing a purchase and requesting immediate access, you agree that AISDI™ may begin providing the purchased digital service immediately.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, subscription fees and digital access fees are not automatically refundable once access has been provided.
AISDI™ may approve a refund, credit, or corrective remedy where:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- payment was taken but AISDI™ cannot provide the purchased access after a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue;
- a refund is required by applicable law;
- AISDI™ approves a refund, credit, or other remedy as a discretionary goodwill measure.
AISDI™ may decline refund requests where access has been provided, where the request falls outside these refund rules, where the issue can reasonably be resolved through support, where the request relates to bank exchange rates or issuer fees outside AISDI™’s control, or where the request suggests misuse, repeated refund cycling, account sharing, abuse of the service, or breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable consumer right that applies to you.
13. Certificates and validated completion
AISDI™ may issue certificates, completion records, validated completion records, learning records, or other recognition documents where the relevant course, access model, process, or service supports them.
A certificate or validated completion record may depend on course completion, progress records, activity completion, assessment results, administrative review, identity information, account status, payment status, or other completion conditions set by AISDI™.
AISDI™ may check completion records and other available information before issuing a certificate or recognizing validated completion. Certificate issue may be automated, manual, or partly manual. Certificate issue may therefore not be immediate.
A certificate or validated completion record indicates completion of the applicable AISDI™ course or completion process as defined by AISDI™ at the relevant time. It does not, by itself, represent a formal qualification, professional licence, accredited qualification, regulatory approval, employment guarantee, certification exam result, or independent validation of professional competence unless AISDI™ states this in writing for a separately governed certification process.
Users may share their own valid AISDI™ certificates for personal, professional, portfolio, or social proof purposes, provided they do not alter the certificate, remove AISDI™ marks, misrepresent the certificate, imply a higher level of recognition than was granted, or use the certificate in a misleading way.
AISDI™ may correct, withdraw, reissue, refuse, or revoke a certificate or completion record where it was issued in error, obtained through misuse, affected by technical error, based on inaccurate information, associated with account sharing, associated with breach of these Terms, or used in a misleading way.
AISDI™ may change certificate formats, certificate labels, validation checks, certificate workflows, issue timing, verification methods, certificate availability, or certificate-related services from time to time.
14. Course content, library changes, and access changes
AISDI™ may add, remove, revise, replace, reorganize, rename, update, retire, or change courses, modules, lessons, assessments, activities, media, downloads, certificates, course levels, course metadata, library tiers, learning paths, and access structures from time to time.
AISDI™ may change free access offers, paid access offers, subscription packages, access tiers, plan names, pricing, renewal options, included features, and availability.
Changes may apply to new users immediately. Changes affecting existing paid users may apply from the next renewal, next billing period, plan change, access renewal, or another date communicated by AISDI™, subject to applicable law.
No course, feature, certificate, access model, price, library structure, no-charge offer, promotional offer, or subscription package is guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.
AISDI™ will not charge a free user unless that user chooses and authorizes a paid plan.
15. ALMA™ and AI-assisted learning
ALMA™ is an embedded AI co-learning interface within the AISDI™ learning experience. It supports explanation, simplification, contextualization, practice, reflection, testing, applied output development, and learner engagement within the course environment.
ALMA™ responses are AI-generated and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, inappropriate for a specific context, or unsuitable for a particular decision. You remain responsible for reviewing ALMA™ outputs, checking accuracy, applying your own judgment, and obtaining professional advice where required.
ALMA™ is not a legal adviser, financial adviser, medical adviser, tax adviser, cybersecurity adviser, compliance adviser, recruitment adviser, investment adviser, or substitute for qualified professional judgment.
You must not rely on AISDI™ content, ALMA™ responses, certificates, course outputs, or ALMA Activities™ as the sole basis for high-risk decisions, regulated decisions, legal compliance, financial decisions, employment decisions, medical decisions, safety decisions, security decisions, or decisions affecting rights, obligations, property, health, or safety.
AISDI™ may change, limit, suspend, replace, monitor, or withdraw AI-assisted features where required for service quality, cost control, security, legal compliance, provider changes, abuse prevention, or platform stability.
16. Learning expectations
AISDI™ courses are active learning experiences. Learners should expect to engage with structured course material, ALMA™, ALMA Activities™, supporting media where included, reflection prompts, application tasks, and course completion requirements.
Passive reading, skimming, isolated prompt sampling, or incomplete use of ALMA™ and ALMA Activities™ may provide an incomplete experience of the course.
AISDI™ does not guarantee any specific learning outcome, employment outcome, productivity gain, promotion, income result, business result, compliance result, professional result, certification result, or third-party recognition from course access, ALMA™ use, course completion, certificate issue, or validated completion.
17. Fair use
AISDI™ supports normal educational use of its learning environment, ALMA™, ALMA Activities™, AI-assisted features, course materials, certificates, and related services.
AISDI™ may apply reasonable limits, throttling, usage controls, suspension, or other restrictions where usage appears automated, scripted, excessive, abusive, unrelated to learning, harmful to service stability, harmful to other users, intended to avoid access controls, or inconsistent with the intended course experience.
Fair use controls may apply to free users, paid users, business users, enterprise users, or partner-mediated users.
Fair use controls do not create a right to a refund unless applicable law requires otherwise or AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing.
18. Acceptable use
You must use AISDI™ services lawfully, responsibly, and only for permitted learning, review, business, or agreed access purposes.
You must not:
- share, sell, transfer, pool, rotate, or resell access;
- copy, scrape, download, extract, republish, mirror, or redistribute AISDI™ content except where expressly allowed;
- use AISDI™ courses or materials to create competing courses, internal training products, external training products, prompt libraries, datasets, AI training material, or derivative learning products;
- reverse engineer, probe, bypass, disable, interfere with, or attack AISDI™ systems, ALMA™, the learning environment, access controls, billing controls, or security controls;
- attempt to extract system prompts, hidden instructions, model configuration, internal logic, runtime details, database content, embeddings, retrieval structures, or other non-public technical material;
- use ALMA™ or AISDI™ services to generate unlawful, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or unsafe content;
- submit content that you do not have the right to submit;
- submit confidential, sensitive, personal, regulated, or third-party information unless you have the right to do so and understand the privacy implications;
- use bots, scripts, automation, mass account creation, credential stuffing, scraping, or high-volume extraction;
- misrepresent your identity, organization, certificate, completion status, relationship with AISDI™, or authority to act;
- interfere with another user’s learning, access, account, data, or platform experience.
AISDI™ may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or terminate access where it reasonably believes these Terms have been breached.
19. Intellectual property and content licence
AISDI™ and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the AISDI™ website, course library, learning environment, course structures, course content, instructional design, delivery methods, ALMA™ interaction structures, ALMA Activities™, prompts, templates, downloads, assessments, certificates, marks, visual assets, methodologies, frameworks, software, systems, and related materials.
You receive only the limited access rights granted by your access type, subscription, course pass, bundle, written agreement, or these Terms.
You must not copy, modify, adapt, translate, externalize, publish, sell, rent, license, sublicense, assign, distribute, display, perform, transmit, make available, or create derivative works from AISDI™ materials unless AISDI™ permits this in writing.
You may use course materials, downloads, ALMA™ outputs, notes, and personal learning outputs for your own learning and legitimate internal professional use, subject to these Terms and any restrictions shown in the relevant course or material.
You must not use AISDI™ content or outputs to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or improve an AI model, dataset, retrieval system, course-generation system, prompt library, or competing education product without AISDI™’s written permission.
All AISDI™ names, logos, marks, course names, certificate designs, product names, methodology names, and brand elements must be used only as permitted by AISDI™.
20. User content, learner outputs, and ALMA™ interactions
You may submit prompts, answers, notes, reflections, course activity responses, files, questions, messages, support requests, and other content through AISDI™ services.
You retain ownership of your own original content, subject to the rights you grant to AISDI™ to operate, provide, secure, support, improve, and administer the services.
By submitting content to AISDI™, you grant AISDI™ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, analyse, use, and create technical copies of that content as needed to provide the services, operate ALMA™, support your account, issue certificates, validate completion, resolve disputes, maintain security, improve the learning experience, and comply with law.
You are responsible for the content you submit. You must ensure that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe rights, breach confidentiality, violate law, or expose third-party information without permission.
AISDI™ may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified usage and interaction information for analytics, product improvement, learning-design improvement, service monitoring, reporting, research, and business planning, as described in the Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
21. Third-party services
AISDI™ uses third-party services to provide website hosting, website commerce, checkout, payment processing, subscription billing, customer portal access, course delivery, customer support, analytics, communications, AI-assisted features, authentication, databases, infrastructure, storage, security, and related functions.
Third-party services may include website, commerce, billing, payment, fraud-prevention, customer relationship, communication, analytics, authentication, course-delivery, AI-processing, retrieval, database, hosting, storage, security, and infrastructure providers.
Your use of third-party sign-in, payment, browser, device, email, bank, card issuer, or platform services may also be subject to third-party terms and privacy notices.
AISDI™ is not responsible for third-party service interruptions, card issuer decisions, bank conversion rates, authentication failures, blocked payments, device issues, browser issues, external AI model provider outages, or changes made by third-party providers, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
22. Privacy, cookies, and communications
AISDI™ processes personal information according to its Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
AISDI™ uses cookies, analytics, tracking technologies, and related tools according to its Cookie & Tracking Notice and applicable consent settings.
AISDI™ may send transactional, account, access, payment, renewal, cancellation, support, security, service, and legal communications that are necessary or relevant to your account or use of AISDI™ services.
Marketing communications are handled according to the Communications & Marketing Policy and any applicable consent or unsubscribe mechanism.
You are responsible for keeping your email address and contact details current so AISDI™ can send account, billing, access, certificate, validated completion, support, and renewal communications.
23. Business, enterprise, and partner access
Business, enterprise, reseller, partner, commissioned learning, integration, cohort, reporting, or custom access may be subject to separate written agreements, order forms, proposals, statements of work, partner terms, data-processing terms, or enterprise terms.
Where a separate written agreement exists and conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement controls for the specific business, enterprise, partner, or commissioned engagement.
Free individual access must not be treated as a substitute for organizational rollout, team deployment, learner reporting, managed cohorts, integrations, onboarding, certificate administration, or broader library access unless AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing.
AISDI™ may require additional terms for enterprise access, integrations, custom development, reporting, data processing, identity management, SSO, procurement requirements, security reviews, or learner administration.
24. Support and service availability
AISDI™ aims to provide a stable and useful learning experience, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access.
AISDI™ services may be interrupted, limited, delayed, changed, or unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, security incidents, third-party services, payment issues, hosting issues, model-provider issues, browser or device issues, legal requirements, or events outside AISDI™’s reasonable control.
Support is available through support@aisdi.ai. AISDI™ may also provide support through website forms, customer portals, chat tools, help resources, or other channels.
AISDI™ does not guarantee a specific response time unless a separate written agreement provides one.
25. Suspension and termination
AISDI™ may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where:
- payment fails or is reversed;
- account information is inaccurate or incomplete;
- you breach these Terms;
- you misuse AISDI™ content, ALMA™, certificates, validated completion records, or the learning environment;
- your usage creates security, legal, operational, cost, or platform-stability risk;
- your account appears compromised;
- AISDI™ is required to do so by law, payment provider, service provider, or competent authority;
- AISDI™ withdraws or changes the relevant service, access model, or product.
Termination or suspension does not affect amounts already due, accrued rights, intellectual property restrictions, confidentiality obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, payment obligations, or any other provision intended to survive termination.
26. Disclaimers

AISDI™ does not guarantee that its services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, suitable for every learner, suitable for every organization, or compatible with every device, browser, network, system, tool, or workflow.

AISDI™ does not guarantee employment, promotion, income, business performance, productivity gains, regulatory approval, funding, certification recognition, third-party acceptance, or professional accreditation from using AISDI™ services.
27. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISDI™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of use, interruption, reputational harm, or third-party claims.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISDI™’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or AISDI™ services is limited to the greater of:
- the amount you paid to AISDI™ for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- ZAR 1,000.
For no-charge access, AISDI™’s total liability is limited to ZAR 1,000 to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
28. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold AISDI™, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and partners harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse of AISDI™ services;
- your submitted content;

- your unlawful conduct;
- your misuse or misrepresentation of a certificate, validated completion record, output, or AISDI™ relationship;
- your use of AISDI™ content outside the permitted licence scope.
This indemnity applies to the extent permitted by law.
29. Changes to these Terms
AISDI™ may change these Terms from time to time.
The effective date and version number will show when the Terms were last changed. AISDI™ may notify users of material changes through the website, account notices, email, checkout notices, customer portal notices, or other reasonable methods.
Changes may apply immediately to new users, new purchases, free access, and new subscriptions. For existing paid subscriptions, material changes may apply from the next renewal, next billing period, plan change, or another date communicated by AISDI™, subject to applicable law.
If you continue using AISDI™ services after changes take effect, you accept the changed Terms. If you do not accept the changed Terms, you must stop using AISDI™ services and cancel any paid subscription before the next renewal.
30. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any non-excludable consumer protection, privacy, data-protection, electronic-commerce, or digital-services rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country or region.
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact AISDI™ at support@aisdi.ai and give AISDI™ a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or AISDI™ services may be brought before the competent courts of South Africa.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief where required.
