Pricing FAQ

Questions about pricing, access, and course coverage

These answers explain how AISDI™ subscriptions, USD and ZAR price displays, ZAR payment processing, Free Essentials access, course coverage, certificates, and the active learning experience work.

Pricing note: Prices can be viewed in USD or South African rand. USD prices are reference prices, while online checkout and subscription payments are processed in South African rand (ZAR), unless AISDI™ states otherwise at checkout.

Currency and billing

Why can I view prices in USD if payment is processed in ZAR?

AISDI™ displays USD prices to make its subscriptions easier to understand and compare for international customers. These USD amounts are reference prices.

Online checkout and subscription payments are processed in South African rand (ZAR). AISDI™ periodically updates the ZAR prices offered to new subscribers using a recent USD/ZAR exchange rate.

What currency am I actually charged in?

Unless AISDI™ states otherwise at checkout, online subscription payments are processed in South African rand (ZAR).

The ZAR total displayed at checkout is the amount submitted for payment. If your card is issued in another currency, your card provider converts the ZAR charge into your card currency.

Why might the amount on my card statement differ from the displayed USD reference price?

Your card provider converts the ZAR payment into your card currency using its applicable exchange rate when the transaction is processed.

The resulting amount may therefore differ slightly from the USD reference price displayed on the AISDI™ website.

What happens to renewals if exchange rates change?

Subscription renewals are processed in ZAR at the renewal amount applicable to your active AISDI™ subscription.

If your card is issued in another currency, your card provider converts the ZAR renewal charge when it processes the transaction. The amount in your card currency may therefore vary as exchange rates change.

Can I be billed in a fixed USD, EUR, GBP, or other foreign-currency amount?

AISDI™ currently processes online subscription payments in ZAR unless checkout states otherwise.

A foreign-currency price displayed on the website is provided for reference and comparison. It is not a fixed foreign-currency billing amount unless that currency is specifically confirmed at checkout.

Free Essentials access

Is Essentials really free?

Essentials access is currently available at no charge for individual learners. It gives individuals a practical entry point into AI literacy, everyday AI use, prompting basics, responsible use, and early confidence-building.

Essentials is not a lifetime access promise. AISDI™ may change the Essentials access model, included content, certificates, features, or pricing in future. You will not be charged unless you choose and authorize a paid plan.

Who is Free Essentials for?

Free Essentials is intended for individual learning and review. It is suitable for people who want to begin with practical, vendor-neutral AI literacy before deciding whether to move into deeper paid library access.

Organizational decision-makers may also use Free Essentials to review the AISDI™ learning experience before discussing team, department, reseller, partner, or enterprise access options.

Can a business use Free Essentials for team training?

Free Essentials is not a free business or team deployment subscription.

Businesses may use Essentials for review, but team deployment, learner reporting, cohort management, onboarding, integrations, validated certificate workflows, and broader library access are handled through paid business or enterprise options.

Will Essentials always be free?

Essentials is currently available at no charge for individual learners, but AISDI™ may change the access model, included content, certificates, features, or pricing in future.

AISDI™ will not charge you unless you choose and authorize a paid plan.

What happens if Essentials becomes a paid subscription later?

If AISDI™ changes Essentials from no-charge access to paid access, users will be informed through the relevant website, account, or communication process.

You will not be charged automatically. To continue access under a paid Essentials model, you would need to choose and authorize a paid plan.

Course coverage and library status

Do the course counts include courses that are still in development?

Yes. Course counts may include both published courses and courses marked as in development.

The Pricing page shows course status in the course coverage accordion, and individual course pages may also show whether a course is published or still in development. In-development courses form part of the planned subscription coverage, but they are only accessible once released.

When do I get access to an in-development course?

You get access to an in-development course once it is released into the learning environment, provided the course falls within your active subscription level at that time.

In-development status means the course is part of the planned library coverage, but it is not yet available for full learning access.

Can course availability or course counts change?

Yes. AISDI™ may add, revise, replace, reorganize, rename, retire, or release courses over time.

The Pricing page and course pages should be treated as the current public reference for course availability, subscription coverage, and course status.

Do higher subscriptions include lower-level courses?

Yes. Higher subscriptions include the levels below them.

For example, a subscription that includes Intermediate coverage also includes the applicable Essentials and Fundamentals coverage shown in the course coverage table.

Subscriptions, cancellation, and account use

Which subscription should I choose?

Start with Essentials if you want a no-charge entry point into practical AI literacy and everyday use.

Choose Fundamentals when you are ready to move beyond the entry layer into broader applied AI capability. Choose Intermediate when you need deeper role-, function-, team-, or implementation-relevant learning. Choose Advanced+ when you need advanced learning for leadership, governance, strategy, specialist work, transformation, or complex AI application.

Is AISDI™ suitable for teams or organizations?

Yes, but team and organizational use should be handled through Business Access.

Individual subscriptions are intended for individual learner access. For teams, cohorts, departments, institutional rollout, learner reporting, onboarding, integrations, curated routes, or enterprise deployment, use the Business Access route.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel through the customer portal where available, or by contacting support@aisdi.ai.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless AISDI™ states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, access normally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

Are refunds available?

AISDI™ provides digital learning access after successful payment. Refunds are considered for duplicate charges, unresolved access failures, legal requirements, or discretionary goodwill cases.

Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Can I share my account or subscription?

No. Each account, subscription, seat, or access entitlement is for one unique user unless AISDI™ agrees otherwise in writing.

Account sharing, seat pooling, resale, or rotating one account between multiple users is not allowed.

Learning experience and recognition

Are certificates included?

AISDI™ may issue certificates, completion records, validated completion records, or related recognition documents where the relevant course or access model supports them.

A certificate or validated completion record reflects completion of the applicable AISDI™ course or completion process. It is not, by itself, a formal qualification, professional licence, accredited credential, or independent validation of professional competence unless AISDI™ states this in writing for a separately governed process.

What kind of learning experience should I expect?

AISDI™ is a structured, self-paced, AI-interactive learning experience. Learners work through course material, use ALMA™, complete ALMA Activities™, and apply judgment.

It is not a passive click-through or video-first course experience.

Is ALMA™ included in the courses?

ALMA™ is part of the AISDI™ learning experience where enabled in the relevant course environment. It helps learners clarify concepts, test understanding, personalize examples, complete activities, and apply learning in context.

ALMA™ responses are AI-generated. Learners should review outputs, apply judgment, and avoid entering sensitive, confidential, or unauthorized information.
